IT TECHNICIAN

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative technician to join our central IT Team delivering services and support to all the schools within the MILL Academy.
The Technician will be required to maintain school computer equipment, install new and existing software across the network, provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems. We need someone who has a strong knowledge of ICT hardware and software, a NVQ or similar qualification, a working knowledge of common user applications and extensive experience of using Microsoft products and email.
The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate well to people on all levels. This is a busy post and will require someone who is well organised, flexible and able to work under pressure and to deadlines. This is a full time permanent contract with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

All successful candidates are required to have enhanced DBS clearance and will need to undertake the DBS check with our organisation.
