Teaching Assistant: Classroom, SEN, Intervention - Grade 5/6

The successful candidate will work across a range of roles, including one to one, small groups and as part of a whole class.

This is a grade 5/6 role dependent on experience for 30 hours per week during school term

A good sense of humour and a 'can do' attitude should be a prerequisite for applying.

Salary & Benefits

Grade 5 = Classroom support of a teacher or teachers and maybe with 1 child or with groups of children managing supported interventions

Grade 6: = (as above) with the additional responsibility of taking the full responsibility of a class as a cover supervisor on occasion when necessary.

Grade 5: from £13.26ph; £17,304 (actual)

Grade 6: from £13.90ph; £18,139(actual)

As a Local Authority employee you will be enrolled in a generous pension scheme.
