Ridgeway Education Trust (RET) is a multi-academy trust which comprises Didcot Girls’ School, St Birinus Boys’ School, Didcot Sixth Form and Sutton Courtenay Church of England Primary School. Our vision is to provide educational excellence through partnership to children and young people throughout our community.

Didcot Girls’ School is an outstanding school, as confirmed by Ofsted (November 2022). The school is thriving, oversubscribed and has a commitment to the very highest standards. St Birinus School was judged to be a good school, once more, by Ofsted (February 2020) and is on its way to outstanding. The school has a strong sense of identity and a tangibly vibrant ethos. Sutton Courtenay CofE Primary School provides the opportunity to build an exceptional, coherent education provision from nursery up to, and including, sixth form. We are excited that other local primary schools have signalled their intention to join our Trust.

Our Trust is centred on the values of integrity, ambition and leading for legacy. We value our people and support their development as we know that great people create great schools.
